I am very excited to announce our upcoming LWR2012 retreat!!! It's a retreat that is designed for the youth of Living Hope, in grades 8-12. 
We have a pretty exciting guest speaker - Geoff Stewart of Peace Portal Alliance church in South Surrey, who has sent us a video message:
This retreat will be on February 17th to 19th, a Friday to Sunday, and will be a weekend to focus on your relationship with God, with others, and yourself. We will have times of peace and rest, times of meaningful worship, and times of games!!
This is all hosted at Camp Squeah, who has an amazing facility and grounds - they have trails, hikes, and out door fully stocked covered gym, and more.
All of our meals are there (although not Friday dinner), and this retreat is NO COST TO YOU!!!

Our youth ministries have started!! And if you missed out on the cornmaze last week, you really missed out. It was an amazing evening of getting lost & getting found, hot dogs, corn on the cob, fire pit, and just general hangout with all ages!!! This week, we've got a bunch going on. I hope that you can come out to the events that are designed for you!
Monday night, was the cadet's kick off night at the church.
Tuesday night, is the GEMS kick off night at the church.
Thursday night, is the WWF worship in the ring event for LH.youth.
Don't forget that this coming weekend is thanksgiving weekend! So spend those free moments with your family and other people most important to you! Be thankful for them!!
LH.kids Harvest Party :: An exciting event is happening soon for the Kids and their friends, and families of our community on October 31st!! We will be looking for volunteers to:- 1. run games,
- 2. registration table,
- 3. run the kitchen for snacks/drinks/candy refills
- 4. set up and clean up.
